The BAT Tournament: A Colossal Week in Townstar

Brave and Gala Games have been building their partnership for several months with offerings such as the ability for players to hold Basic Attention Token in their Gala Games accounts and the physical NFT Minotaur King crystal sculpture that was sold in the Brave Swag Store near the end of last year. Now these two key players are teaming up yet again, and this time they are honored to bring the growing Gala ecosystem the most exciting collaborative Town Star tournament event to date: The BAT Tournament.
Today, Brave and Gala are here to officially announce the week-long tournament event. Beginning on March 16th, contestants who hold the required amount of BAT in their Gala Games accounts will spend exactly seven days building the town of their dreams in a dedicated Brave Townstar server. At the end of the event, the total prize pool of $5000 will be divided among the players with the most successful builds according to the payout structure below. The BAT Tournament’s prizes will be paid out in BAT, directly to the Gala Games accounts of the winners.

6th-10th Places — $200 BAT
11th-20th Places — $100 BAT
To Be Eligible to win this massive tournament event, not only must you be Brave, but you must hold at least 20 Basic Attention Tokens in your Gala Games account. This means that if you have accumulated BAT by using the Brave browser and are currently holding them in the Uphold wallet, you will need to transfer them to the Ethereum-based Gala Games account to be eligible for prizes.

The day after the tournament’s launch, on March 17th, Jason Brink (Chief Marketing Officer) from Gala Games and Luke Mulks (VP of Business Operations) from Brave and will get together for a livestream AMA on Theta.TV to discuss the Town Star BAT Tournament and Brave and Gala Games’ ongoing partnership, as well as make another exciting announcement!
